My goal for the Final Year Project was to convey my thoughts and concerns about "appearance anxiety" to women and girls who are as insecure about their bodies as I am: every woman and girl is unique and there is no standard for beauty regardless of the vast amount of 'perfect' female imagery that is produced in media every year. A magazine format exploring a distortion 'aesthetic ' was used to communicate the idea that what is on the inside is actually more attractive than the outside.
