My artistic practice is shaped by a lifelong love for textiles and it reflects a deeply personal journey to reconnect with the farmland I have inherited from my mother. I examine my feelings of responsibility, comfort and safety, connection to nature and a sense of home. My work often takes the form of garments that explore these sometimes conflicting emotions. I use stitch, dye, print and a range of different fabrics to depict my evolving relationship with my home.
