I’m Ella Donegan, a Creative Digital Media student with a strong interest in film editing, storytelling, and post-production. My work focuses on character-driven stories that blend emotion, humour, and realism, with a particular interest in how editing shapes tone and audience experience.

For my Final Year Project, I co-created Chatterbox, a short comedy-drama set in rural Ireland. The film explores friendship, social anxiety, and identity through the story of two teenage girls navigating the pressures of growing up and fitting in.

As lead editor and co-director, I focused heavily on pacing, comedic timing, sound design, and creating a visual style that felt both cinematic and authentic to Irish life.
