Hi! My name is Kiia. I’m a passionate illustrator, and my work is highly inspired by mythology and folklore. My final year project is an illustrated book featuring characters from Finnish mythology and a young girl whose father is fighting in the Winter War. I have a deep connection to this part of Finnish history as my great grandfather fought in it, and this book is my love letter to my heritage.
