The intricate world of spiders shows a display of how I weaved my practice until now. We often perceive spiders as terrifying and repulsive. This fascinates me as I am intrigued by the evolutionary roots of fear of spiders, a fear that harkens back to our ancestors who viewed them differently in different cultures, seen as tricksters in some and creative in others. I use different forms of print to finish my pieces.

Through my art, I aim to initiate a dialogue that challenges perceptions and encourages a deeper understanding of our relationship with the natural world. By embracing the spider’s symbolism I hope to guide viewers to a release, a catharsis that transforms fear into appreciation, allowing us to admire the intricate beauty of natures’ most skilled weavers.
