Statement
I am a final year Creative Digital Media student at MTU Cork with a strong interest in digital communication, graphic design, UX design, and multimedia content creation. Throughout my time in MTU, I have developed a wide range of creative and technical skills through both academic projects and industry experience. My role in our final year project, One Stop Pit Stop, focused on UX design, where I worked on creating an engaging and user-friendly digital experience based on the needs of the target audience.
Coming from an agricultural background and working in my family run business, has given me a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the agri industry. I have always been interested in combining this background with creative digital skills, particularly in areas such as marketing, communication, and e-learning.
Through my internships with Teagasc and No.1 Media, I discovered that I really enjoy creating educational and engaging content through graphic design, animation, and multimedia production. In Teagasc, I created e-learning materials for Leaving Cert Ag Science students, using animation and visual design to communicate information in an accessible and engaging way. These experiences helped me develop skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, social media content creation, video editing, and digital storytelling.
The images and videos included showcase some of the projects and creative work I have completed throughout my studies and internships.
