My name is Matthew Redmond, and I am a Creative Digital Media Student from Wexford. My interests include digital art, animation, motion graphics and game design. Interests which I have developed thanks to this course.
My project is called “A Look at the Spectrum”. It is an interactive experience which combines my knowledge of motion graphics and animation, with basic game design with Unreal Engine. The project aims to help children with Asperger’s learn about their condition, as they navigate through three rooms which contain a number of animated videos which teach them about Asperger’s and how it affects a person. The player must perform tasks given by a narrator to unlock the videos.
