The retro, nostalgic nature of the ‘90s and ‘00s for me is the main inspiration for my work. I am very attracted to objects and elements from the 90s and 00s, especially electronics from that period such as televisions, game consoles and cassettes. They appear in my mind like a slideshow, reminding me of my environment in that era, how it was and how it influenced me. I also made sculptures of objects of my memories of the 90s and 00s in clay. I used various surface decoration techniques, including colourful velvets, mostly with some displaying Chinese blue and white patterns and retro colours.
