With my project I explore the theme of community within sports in rural Ireland. I do this to showcase the significance of sport in rural settings and how it contributes to and enhances the local people’s social, physical and cultural day to day lives. I highlight the local sports groups in their training sessions aiming to showcase their talent and dedication to the community.
