Hello, my name is Patrick Harty and welcome to my showcase page. I am an artist with a passion for conceptual design and storytelling through art, using a wide variety of digital and traditional media.

I chose to combine my two passions in this project by designing a VR environment inspired by a poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins “Spring”. I wanted to adapt this poem in a way that would be engaging for people of all demographics, especially those who don’t particularly enjoy poetry. I did this by creating a 3D VR forest environment representative of the imagery within the poem.
