Statement

My work delves into the realms of female sexuality, eroticism, mental health and addiction, offering a narrative shaped by the soft, feminine surfaces I craft. Utilizing hand-sewn elements, polaroid photography and prints of my worn makeup, I create paintings that serve as physical snapshots of moments and memories. In the tapestry of my artistic exploration, I weave an expanded autobiography that resonates with the delicate threads of loneliness, heartbreak and melancholia. The deliberate and patient process of hand-sewing brings a softness and femininity to the work, aligning it with the accompanying text which romanticizes each image displayed.
