The Truth Hurts is my final year documentary, following Davin Godfrey, who entered the HSE CAMHS system as a child. Now 23, Davin shares his story for the first time exposing the lasting impact of powerful medications and a system that failed him. As Davin says, “the truth hurts” and through this film, I aim to confront that truth and help push for meaningful change.
