Hi, I’m Chelsea! For my final year project, I wanted to encourage the sharing of different cultural narratives from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) communities in the form of folktales and myths. To achieve this, I wrote, illustrated, and designed this book where each chapter dives into folktales from a different part of the globe using the intimate feel of a well-loved journal. With postcards featuring illustrations tucked in at the end of each chapter, readers are encouraged to share the stories with others, keeping them alive.
