This project is about capturing scenes in natural Irish landscapes that evoke a sense of story and myth. Places in nature with a mythology attached to them often have symbols that tell a story. The series invites the viewer to engage with the ancient symbols associated with trees, rocks, and rivers, amongst other natural features.

As a photographer I often try to portray the deep connection that humans have with our environments and natural surroundings. I think it is important to immerse ourselves in nature, as it reminds us that there is a richness to be found in everything.
