“Diva in Distress” is a choice-based visual novel that explores themes of feminism, capitalism, AI, and how they all intersect.
The story follows a robot built for prostitution, named DIVA, that has had her legs broken and is discarded on the street waiting for sanitation to collect her. Upon meeting her, you can learn about her life, experience, and the world she lives in, if you so choose. Otherwise, you can walk away, and let sanitation do its job.

As I’ve always been passionate about feminism, my project was inspired by the darkest parts of the female experience, touching on modern issues connecting to it, such as AI, artificial intimacy, and our growing dependence on technology in a generation that increasingly lacks real community.
