Statement

My name is Hannah Collins, a passionate production assistant and coordinator. I am also the director of Baby Space Bunny! I enjoy working with kids, telling stories and making people laugh. I love animation history and classic cartoons, the sillier the better, and crafting!

A child shows his mum a drawing that he made of Baby Space Bunny (BSB). We are then transported into the drawing as the child starts to narrate what's happening to his mother. The child's overexaggerations and excitement keeps him from settling on what's happening which is getting in the way and interrupts BSB from placing his flag on top of the mountain. Hinjinxs ensue and at the end the child then pulls down the drawing and his mother smiles at him.

My film is a 2D mixed media short film that is sweet, simple and a bit stupid. I was inspired by shorts like Looney Tunes and the Classic Peanuts Specials.
