  • In the distorted reality, Oscar encounters remnants of his past and begins to fall apart. Each time being reminded of the partner he had lost, and the “shadow” of guilt that looms over him, seeing the picture frame being the final nail in the coffin. He mourns the loss of his partner while having a mental breakdown.

  • In this scene, the protagonist “Oscar”, is in this sort of “headspace” reality. An alarming dark space, covered in a red light, represents his mental state, but he makes a determined decision to return to the real world and confront his past.

  • At the beach, Oscar finally parts with the remnants of his past and guilt. On the shore with the clouds parting the skies, he looks upon a new day for himself and a tomorrow he can look forward to again. Free from the “shadow” of sorrow he casted upon his memories of her.
