My name is Barry Walsh. I am an animator, digital media creator and artist, who loves expressing myself in many creative mediums. I aim to make content that makes a difference in the world. My final year project was about Mental Health awareness and removing the stigma surrounding it. The project aimed to build empathy with people who have mental health disorders by seeing things through the other side or flipside. The medium I used for this project is a flipbook animation that after being flipped through is placed on a surface which triggers audio that gives the view from the flipside. I made the story, soundscape, and animation in this project.
