My name is Cathal Spillane and I’m a Creative Digital Media graduate. During my studies, I gravitated towards graphic design, dramaturgy and sound design.

I participated in two Erasmus exchanges studying Immersive Design in Utrecht, Netherlands and Motion Pictures in Darmstadt, Germany.

For my final year project, I worked as a sound designer for Mindful VR. This meditative virtual reality experience aims to assist mental health services in the treatment of various mental health disorders. I wrote the script and recorded the narration, recorded foley sound effects and ambience and mixed them together in surround sound to create the immersive ambient audio and narration that you can find on my portfolio linked below.
