Hello, my name is Emily Piggott, and I’m a recent graduate from the Creative Digital Media course at MTU. From my time completing this degree, I have developed strong abilities in collaboration, project development and design and explored interests in photography, graphic design, 3D modelling and video related areas, many of which I have demonstrated my talents in for my Final Year Project entitled “Makeup of Cork”.

Makeup of Cork is an interactive, cultural piece that highlights the discrepancy between Cork city infrastructure. Motivated by socio-economic and cultural issues within the city and taking inspiration from Cork city street art as a vehicle for discussing these, Makeup of Cork takes information from a photographic study and using creative code and tangible computing methods, outputs a unique digital composition surrounding these.
