Through my work I explore the concept of nature reclaiming abandoned sections of land primarily based in my family's farm. Through sculpture using wood, metal, natural vegetation and castings I am showing the resilience of nature as it takes back the land. I look closely at the types of vegetation and structures in my area of research and aim to incorporate this imagery into my work. I wish to show the harmony between man-made structures and the organic world, showcasing the transformative power of time and the enduring presence of nature if left unattended.
