The move towards entropy is intrinsic to the world. Everything ends, nothing lasts forever. This is a fundamental paradox of living; we exist in a universe in which order and disorder dance together on the edge of chaos.

The lines, twists and folds encountered when navigating the strengths and weaknesses of a material bring a dynamic transformation to the fluid and the static as they impose their own form upon form. In my work I collaborate with materials as I investigate the disintegration inherent in our fragile, ephemeral existence that we find both grotesque and fascinating.
