Statement

I get a great feeling of peace from the Irish sea and shore; I have studied its colours, textures and the way water moves. My findings have led to a huge interest in the shape of water and the power of it engulfing the shoreline in sea foam and bubbles, plus some of its natural surroundings. My recent pieces have taken inspiration from these aspects and are detailed with a combination of glazes and oxides that I have researched and experimented with. The aim of my work is to depict that crisp beachy feeling you get when standing at the seashore.
