Hi! My name is Kaia Egritepe and I'm a Creative Digital Media graduate with a real passion for all things storytelling; whether that be filmmaking, motion graphics, or animation, I love exploring and breaking down who we are and how we've gotten to where we're at.

The New Age Enlightened Orthodox Brotherhood of the Righteous Divine is a fictional, absurdist doomsday cult and the centre of my Final Year Project, a transmedia story that highlights the harm often brought by belief, by those who seek to take advantage of it. It works a scalable framework for transmedia storytelling, combining a number of tools from the Adobe Suite, motion capture, Blender, and various online tools. I created a fragmented but interconnected story that is online across social media and different platforms including TikTok, Instagram, a custom-built website, and E-Mail.

During my time studying, I've had so many wonderful opportunities to learn and grow, always staying curious. Going to Karlsruhe, and showcasing an interactive documentary called 'Access Grated', which I worked on alongside some fellow classmates. I've screened my short films around the country at different festivals, meeting so many amazing people from so many backgrounds. I'm really looking forward to continue growing, learning, and exploring whatever comes next.
